What is Globalization ?
The linguistic meaning of the term seems to be completely different from
its political denotion.
Linguistically; The Word "Globalization" relates to the Globe.
To globalize means to adapt or adopt something brought from outside the
Globe.
In same way we understand the process of Americanization, frenchization,
democratization etc.
To Americanize something is to make it part of American culture, and to
democratize a country or Some Institutions is to integrate them into a
democratic system.
So the linguistic Meaning of Globalization is too narrow and far away from
satisfying the political references!
Despite all that have been done on space level , Globalization in a
linguistic sense still too young and limited to merely poor observations.
Politically ; Globalization is the process of spreading out some political
, cultural or economic systems or goods emerged in some parts of the world
to be extended to the rest of the Globe.
Hitherto ; the political Use is comprehensive and include the linguistic
reference as well.
Globalization is an everlasting process amorphed in all forms of natural
life tendencies.
In the Prehistory Globalization of cultures left us some Fingerprints
identified through global palaeo lithic excavations.
Through Settlement the cultural Globalization shrank. Despite the
emergence of national identities and the development of Citizenship
immunity strategy, some cultural values remained world wide accepted and
welcome. Gods for example had born different Names with same reference
Object. The Sun was worshiped in all over the world , and sanctuaries all
had a special place for the earth mother.( The earth mother used to be the
roman Venus, the greek Aphrodite, the Syrian Astarout, the Assyrian and
Babylonian Astarta, the saudian Al Uzza, the Egyptian Izis, the Sumerian
Inana etc.
The earliest realistic culture was brought by the greek Conquerors to
become global and survived even under the roman empire. Later, the world
suffered facing a new Era of a struggle led by Christianity and Islam.
The later European Renaissance produced Socialism and Communism . After
the Collapse of Communism, Globalization became a rivalry between right
and left Liberalism.
